Almost all celestial bodies in space have extreme physical properties with extremely high pressure, density, and temperature, and radiative hydrodynamics are basically required for the behavior analysis of these high-energy-density plasmas. For accurate analysis of high-energy density plasmas, information of opacity is required in radiative transport, and information of equation-of-state(EOS) is required for analysis of physical evolutions of HEDP. Such high-energy-density plasmas can also be implemented in a laboratory through a high-power laser or a pulsed power device, and the researches on inertial fusion research and warm density matter (WDM) are being actively conducted around the world. Our laboratory is conducting theoretical and computational research for precise behavior analysis of high-energy-density plasmas, and the specific research fields of interest are as follows:
