In particle physics, we study fundamental particles and their interactions as building blocks of nature and apply the knowledge to understand the origin of the universe. Research topics include theoretical modeling for high-energy phenomena in particle physics and cosmology and studying their implications for Physics beyond Standard Model and the Standard Big Bang Cosmology. In concrete, cosmic inflation, dark matter at galaxies and cosmological scales, properties of the Higgs boson and their implications for new physics. We also build new particle physics models to explain the observed data from experiments and propose ways to test them in current and future experiments.
